The boys are 12 weeks and 2 days old.

A friend (hi, Jamie!) posted this video on his facebook page as proof that women are born this way, and Greg freakin' DIED laughing.



You'd think after seeing this five, six, or seven times, it might become a bit stale to most people. But not Greg!



Just one of the many, many reasons I love him. :)

Somehow It Feels Like Cheating...

...but these Miracle Blankets are magical. I swaddled them both and laid them down, and this is probably the only time they've ever napped this long together.


I was actually able to eat lunch, do some laundry, wash dishes, send a few emails.

If this is wrong, I don't want to be right!


The boys are 11 weeks and 4 days old.

Our First Week-End As Four

And what did the fearsome foursome do on their first week-end alone?

We watched a bit of the World Athletics Championship in Berlin.

Joseph & Greg watching the fastest man alive beat the world record. Again.

We got some fresh air with mommy.

Joseph and nature, even backyard nature, do not jive.

We did some swinging.

Love Luke's huge smile at that handsome baby in the mirror.

We had some tummy time.

We napped with daddy.

We got all dressed up in the team colors to cheer daddy on at the soccer game.

We relaxed with Mommy.

We practiced our standing...

...and our collapsing...

...and our krazy kung fu punches.

You don't want none o' this!

All in all, we had a fantastic two days and loved every minute of it.

The boys have amazed us from day 1 with their ability to lift their necks up off our shoulders to have a good look around. I didn't know newborns could do that!

Now Joseph has gotten to the point where he lifts his entire torso up and will have a good look into our faces.

6 weeks and 5 days old

Big Boy Baths

Until they lose their umbilical cord stumps, babies get sponge baths. Well, our boys lost their cords a week after they were born, but for some reason we've been too chicken to use their big boy tub. Until now...

They loved it! And why wouldn't they. They get to sit in nice, warm water while mommy and daddy massage their heads and bodies. What's not to love?

AND it's so much easier on us. I don't know why we put it off for so long.

The only thing they didn't love was being taken OUT of the tub. Our little divas did not appreciate their spa sessions being cut short. Maybe next time...

My mom keeps checking my blog in the hopes that she can see more pictures of the boys. I'm always starting blog posts but don't ever have the time to finish them. I promise one day soon I'll publish all of them, but in the meantime here are a few pics of 100% adorableness.
