Should We Be Worried?

Lately the boys have been paying particular attention to anything and everything we've been putting in our mouths, a sure sign they're ready for solids. And we've tried "solids" with them. I'm just not sure how I feel about this much attention being paid to Daddy's favorite adult beverage.




Luke is 4 months, 3 weeks & 6 days old.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere

Of the 563 pictures I took of my little pumpkins, not ONE had both of them looking at me at the same time with anything resembling smiles. Of course. But I think the ones I did get were pretty cute anyway.

Verticality, Step 1

Joseph has been sitting up for about a week now. He's wobbly but getting better and better every day. He's starting to correct himself when he sways a bit too far to one side and saves it for another few seconds.

Don't worry. I only let him topple over like that when he's moving in extreme slow motion. I'm pretty sure he enjoys the falling over bit much more than the sitting up bit at this point.

In case you're wondering, Luke just kinda folds in on himself at this point. But we're working on it. He'll be an old pro in no time.

A Very Un-Sleepy Baby

I am so very far behind in my blogging. I do plan on publishing many posts from the last few weeks but at the moment, this is what I'm contending with...

Luke is sometimes hard to get to sleep, but once he finally nods off, we usually don't have to worry about him for hours. However, not tonight...

Our New Ride

Courtesy of Mimi, Grandpa Mac & Uncle Trav, the boys have a new super swanky, smooth ride.


This was the one "mommy accessory" that I was dying to have as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I never told my mom this. One day she sent me an email with a link to the BOB Duallie, saying she'd like to get us one. And that's when I fell over dead.

LOVE IT!

The boys do too. It's an instant meltdown cure - priceless.


She also bought the boys these adorable hats. I am an absolute sucker for hats with ears.
